A LITTLE BACKGROUND
My education in holistic nutrition began early as I grew up on wholesome meals my mom made from scratch. I can't say I was always an eager student, however, many times swapping my homemade whole wheat bread sandwich for a friend's Wonder bread and bologna! I came back to my whole foods roots, though, when I had my own children and endeavoured to raise them on real, nourishing fare.
Over the years I have developed a passion for food. Real food of all kinds that is whole and alive and beautiful in and of itself. I love growing it, preparing it, and, above all, eating it! My aim is to rekindle this joy around food in others while also using it as a powerful tool for health.
I graduated with honors in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where I gained a broad knowledge of the ways in which diet and lifestyle affect the well being of our minds and bodies.

HOLISTIC NUTRITION aims to foster the connection between the whole earth, the whole person, and whole foods. |
A meal is more than mere filler; it has the ability to sustain, connect, and heal us. I see in food our connection to a greater whole - to earth, air, water, and sunlight and to the people in our community and beyond who work with these elements to bring forth all that is edible. |
